Passing the SAVE Act would be a death blow to the Democrat party for at least twenty years. This legislation simply requires proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections, something so basic and obvious that only a party reliant on non-citizen and fraudulent votes would oppose it.
Enacted, the bill would mandate documentary proof such as a passport or birth certificate for voter registration and strengthen photo ID requirements at the polls while directing states to use federal databases to scrub non-citizens from rolls. It has already passed the House multiple times including in early 2026, reflecting overwhelming public support for measures that close loopholes Democrats have long exploited through lax verification and sanctuary policies.
For too long, radical Democrats have fought tooth and nail against election integrity because clean voter rolls and citizenship checks threaten their power base. President Trump has been right all along: we must secure our elections with ironclad safeguards that ensure only American citizens decide our future.
The SAVE Act is common sense, straightforward reform that puts American citizens first and restores faith that our republic actually reflects the will of legal voters, not imported ballots or Democrat machine politics.
